Yoga Therapy

Our practice supports exploration through the eight limbs of yoga to best meet your current needs. Nicole's intention is to encourage embodiment, through nervous system regulation with an emphasis placed on trauma informed care and compassion. Discussion will be based on injuries and personal preferences. Depending on comfort level and goals asana (movement), pranayama (breath) and dyana (meditation) and svadhyaya (reflection) will be focused on and combined. You can expect warmth, non judgement, acceptance and skilled experience and knowledge from your certified therapist. You do not have to have any prior yoga experience to begin sessions.

Please note your Intake Appointment needs to be completed to begin Individual Yoga Therapy and/or Group Yoga Therapy.

"Nicole is an extremely knowledgeable yoga therapist and established excellent rapport within the first session. She was able to teach me about myself and yoga therapy while guiding me through a very personalized and holistic healing experience. Each week I am excited to progress further. Growing up as a dancer, knowing how to connect with my identity and emotions through movement has always been important to me. Although, as I got older my ability to do this became harder and further away from me. Nicole has helped me re-establish this connection and has empowered me to be active and intuitive in my own healing. I am now learning that yoga therapy is so much more than my connection to movement. The tools she shares for use outside of the sessions are just as important as the sessions them self. I recommend Nicole as a yoga therapist no matter what stage you are at in life or what obstacle you are trying to deal with!"

"I recently participated in the 7 week trauma-informed yoga therapy program with Nicole and would highly recommend her as a yoga therapist. Prior to starting the program I experienced a lot of tension in my hips and shoulder regions as well as chronic anxiety and stress. Nicole gently guided me through movements which made me feel more connected to my body and introduced my nervous system to a more peaceful way of existing. She has a calm and non-judgemental approach to practice that empowers her clients to tune into the sensations and movements that the body needs. I have very much enjoyed working with Nicole and look forward to continuing to learn from her in the future.
